The big question, then, must be whether the extra 25-30 USD on the HS60’s over the HS50’s, and are they cheap enough to warrant a look over the Void series? Well, to my mind, it’s a very easy ‘yes.’ Admittedly, the extra money spent on gaming…By Gear Diary

Detail Review:
INTRODUCTION:
Corsair HS60
The design, comfort, build quality and everything in physical is nice and good in this headset. The 7.1 virtual surround sound is also good in this headset but the mic is not good.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
The design of the headset is not that attractive and the comfort is good and the headset is also lightweight. The sound of the headset and the mic is also impressive by considering the price of the headset.
DESIGN:
Corsair HS60
The headphones are built extremely well. Most of the pieces are metal, we do have some plastic on top as well as the ear cups. However, the built design is fantastic.
The design of the headset is simple looks good and also as same as the older versions. There’s enough padding in both the ear cups and also the headband and the stitching work on the headband padding is also looks nice. Overall, the design of the headset is very simple.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
The design of the headset looks different and the headset is finished with the full matte black color. There are just two red-colored HyperX logos behind each of the ear cups. The headset looks very simple and there is nothing fancy or glossy in the material used.
COMFORT:
Corsair HS60
They are really comfortable. They are over the ears, so these headphones go over your ears and they don’t go in your ears. They don’t squeeze out all. I would say not too loose but they’re like great design. These are the material that cups are plush like memory foam but again very comfortable on the top. The only minus is the metal here is a little too thick, so when you grab the headphones, it feels a little hard. Overall really good design.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
It’s not pressing my ears against my head or anything. So, it uses to sitting freely inside this, so it’s not going to get fatiguing to wear these for a long period of time. The padding on the headband and the way the headband extends and everything is nice. It’s nice and tough absolutely.
FEATURES:
Corsair HS60
Inside the box, you will get the headset itself, the detachable mic, and the USB dongle whic is used for the 7.1 virtual surround sound. The main difference between the Corsair HS50 and the HS60 is the USB dongle for the surround sound.
The mic is removable. Unfortunately, the headphone wire is not removable. Now on the side, we have a volume indicator and a mute one for the headphone, it’s very minimalistic. The headset is very simple and easy to use and there are no more mess up things. The controller and everything is very easy to use.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
This headset is one of the budget-friendly headsets and it doesn’t have a whole bunch of features. There is a standard four-pole 3.5 mm jack which will work with things like your PlayStation 4, dual shocker to work with your iPhone or work with all those single plug headsets style things or consoles. It also comes with a splitter and it does not look like the little adapter, in this it comes like a long cord to use with the PC.
MICROPHONE:
Corsair HS60
The mic doesn’t sound amazing. I mean for the price, I would expect this kind of headphone for the mic to sound this way. The volume level of the mic sound is very low and your team-mates can’t hear your voice.
Now keep in mind, these are not noise-canceling headphones. If you are looking for noise-canceling headphones, these are not the ones for you.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
The microphone design of the headset is not looks that much nice. The mic is attached behind the ear cup of the headset and it looks weird and most of the people didn’t like the way mic attached to it.
We can also say that the mic is one of the strengths of the headset. The mic sounds pretty good and you can hear the sound very clearly. Besides the design of the mic, the Sound and the clarity of the mic is very nice. The mic separates the background noise as much as possible, so that’s also a great thing.
SOUND:
Corsair HS60
The sound is honestly for the price. They are good in the bass but I wish there would be a little more bassy but the bass overall is fantastic. Also, it does have this little dongle for 7.1 surround sound. Personally I used it but I don’t like it that much. It basically kills the bass of the headphones but you do have the 7.1 surround sound if you like that sound.
In both the gaming and music, the HS60 is good and sounds enough for the price. For this price, we can’t imagine anything at very high level but it giving good sound for both the gaming and listening to music.
HyperX Cloud Stinger
The sound of the headset is very good. Actually, it’s pretty rich. The trebles are lovely and clear, the mids are crispy. The sound of the headset is very nice and good enough for the price. I was surprised by listening to this much of qualified sound in this price headsets.
Both in music and gaming, I’ve enjoyed a lot in this headset. Also, in listening to music the sound of the headset is well balanced, the bass and everything is nice. In gaming, you can enjoy everything in the sound like the sounds of gunshots, bombs, footsteps, and almost everything. You can hear the low sounds and pinpoint from where the enemy is coming.
WHICH TO BUY?
By considering the price, sound of the headset, I will choose HyperX Cloud Stinger. The price of the Cloud Stinger is less than the HS60 and the sound of the mic and also the headset is better than the HS60. As I said, the mic quality of the HS60 is not good. But, there are two main negative points of Cloud Stinger is that the mic is not detachable and the design of the headset is not attractive.
