INTRODUCTION:

Glorious Model O

The Glorious Model O is the light gaming mice. the products used in this mouse is very light. Also, the design of this mouse is designed by the thinking of ultralightweight.

This mouse is also the same as the Glorious Model O mouse. This mouse has a design that makes this mouse light and that will be great for gaming even though it’s wired.

DESIGN & BUILD:

Glorious Model O

This is still extremely budget-friendly for a mouse like this but between the two, the finish is the main difference in that one extra gram. You have that honeycomb textured cutout to shave down some of the weights either the 67 or 68 grams and it has this simple ergonomic design to it. To give you a look at the finishes, the version is the matte white then glossy is gonna be more polished and reflective. You have a more natural grip against your skin.

It is nice and rather unheard of for a company to launch a mouse with four different options for their first release. This just gives people the complete choice to pick whichever mouse they prefer. In terms of size, its 128 millimeters long, 61 millimeters wide of the tip, 59 millimeters wide at the waist, and 66 millimeters wide at the hips, it stands 37 millimeters tall at its height.

The lightweight honeycomb shell is there with ascended cord. It’s six and a half feet long and you’ve seen paracord mods in the past Finalmouse also uses a paracord but this ascended cord is extremely lightweight and flexible and honestly, if you were blindfolded and just held this in your hand you probably think it’s a wireless mouse. The advantages of using a paracord like this are, it heavily decreases any potential snag or tension from the cable on your desk. So, you put all that lightweight stuff together and FPS gamers can flick their way to unlimited headshots.

They’ve made this mouse a lot lighter. They’ve made it 58 grams which is down from 67 of the old Phantom and Ultralight Pros. Now, you might be asking how did they do it? They’ve taken out more of the plastic on the side noticeably, you’ll notice a lot more holes. I was skeptical at first, I thought it would be irritating to the fingers but it actually adds a lot of grip to this mouse. On the bottom, They’ve also taken out another row of hexagons along the bottom to lighten this mouse another 9 grams.

COMFORT:

Glorious Model O

The Glorious O comes in four different variants as noted by the packaging. You can pick from the matte black mouse at 67 grams, matte white at 67 grams as well, glossy black at 68, and then a glossy white at 68 grams. The main physical difference here is just how it feels in your hand with a glossy providing more of a natural grip versus a matte coated mouse which is probably something you’re more used to.

I have medium-size hands, this mouse fits my hand like a glove. I experiment all the time with different grip styles, I do like a claw grip, fingertip, palm, and what I love about this mouse is that it can do all of them. So, if you have small hands, palm grip is safe on this maybe not claw maybe not fingertip grip but definitely palm grip will work for you. If you’ve medium, you can hit the full spectrum, you can get claw fingertip and palm. If you’re large, you can definitely hit claw and fingertip and palm might have some fingers hanging over the edge. For the most part, everybody can use this mouse. it’s comfortable no matter how you use it and with that lightweight the 58 grams, it really just floats in your hand and this thing floats on your mousepad.

FEATURES & PERFORMANCE:

The Model O has six total buttons and even RGB lighting at this price. The scroll wheel illuminates as well as these sides of the mouse. It doesn’t add anything besides just visual flair, it’s still a nice addition people who crave RGB.

This is definitely nice and crisp but I mean the arm round switches here feel really nice. these switches are rated for twenty million clicks and the scroll wheel also has a nice deeply grooved rubber texture on it, that feels very satisfying to use. Below that is the dpi switcher.

The Model O uses the Pixart 3360 and at this point, it is slightly dated but there’s absolutely nothing wrong with it. The 3360 still more than fine, it helps consumers, in the end, saves money which is why it is so affordable. It is a 400 to 12000 dpi sensor, 1,000 Hertz polling rate at one millisecond, and your dpi indicator visual aids on the bottom of the mouse. You can kind of see the lights there to represent your dpi level. This could be configured in the software to pick your color for you to the DPI settings.

You also notice on the bottom of the mouse the feet. These are called G skates, it’s very similar to hyper glides out there you can buy to put on other mice. These G skates just feel really nice which provides a really smooth gliding experience.

The software is very self-explanatory, nothing too fancy. On the left side, your layout where you can reconfigure with the six buttons too, change them up for multimedia keys, cycle through dpi, or even from assigning macros you can create in here. Then over to the right, the first tab is the DPI setting, we could change it, assign it as a color-coded to that light on the bottom of the mouse. You have the lighting tab, you saw before with the mouse wheel and the two lighting ships are running down the mouse.

To give you a look the first standard effect is the glorious mode means the 16.8 million RGB rainbow wave. The other mode is seamless breathing which just smoothly shifts from color to color, then breathing alternatively fades out in between colors, single color pretty obvious, use the color pallet to pick which color you like, and then again breathing will then pulse that color in and out, winding down is the tail effect this kind of just like sends an RGB down the mouse, rave quickly flashes between two colors of your choice, then lastly wave is like a slower moshpit of random colors definitely doesn’t look as smooth or fluent as the glorious mode setting. These are the effects.

Into the mouse parameter tab, you can adjust some things like the scrolling wheel speed, liftoff distance. The last tab is for changing the USB polling rate. Gaming with this mouse has been extremely pleasant, zero issues whatsoever, and having a very lightweight mouse like this, it is definitely a nice change-up from the wireless gaming mice.

These things are crispy, which means the clicks. These are on par with the Logitech G703. I just love how light and crispy these are and they sound great. There’s also the DPI button up top and noticeably different, they’ve also changed the scroll wheel. So, it doesn’t have the ribs anymore, now it has a haiku Japanese poem on each individual mouse, so each mouse that is out there is gonna be unique. So, it’s really cool that they’ve added that personal touch. The side buttons are very nice, they’re still clicky and tactile. 

The price is kind of going into that handmade and crafting kind of experience that they’re giving you with this mouse, that can’t be found on any other mouse. So, I think the mouse is worth the price.

The mouse feet feel amazing, there’s no drag. This paracord is a game-changer. This thing floats on your desk, it feels like nothing is connected which will give you a feel of wireless connectivity. It feels just as good as G703. You don’t have to use a mouse bungee for this mouse. It’s super light, you can just have the cord laying on your desk and it just stays out of the way, it feels like nothing is connected to this mouse.

I tried Black Ops, Overwatch, and many more games with this mouse. Because of this lightness of this mouse, I just feel great when I am gaming. That lightness can snap on to opponents very easily. I can definitely say that this has improved my gameplay. It’s not gonna be world’s better than what you’re using now but it does make a difference.

The sensor on this mouse is the 3360 which is super snappy. It’s on par with the 3366 of the Logitech. I’ve had no issues with spinning out or lift-off distance or anything like that as well.

WHICH TO BUY?

Both of these mouse looks like the same means the design and the main purpose of these mouse. To decide which one you should buy, you should consider the price and the features in it. If you want a lightweight mouse with a super gaming speed, then Glorious Model O will be better, and also this costs at just under $50. In the Finalmouse also, you get all these features but you also get some personal touch in the design which gains the price of about $30 or 40 more.
