Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech G633

The design of this headset is finished with black matte color and with some premium features like RGB lighting, programmable G keys and some more functions. The comfort is also good. The headset sound is also good when you use with the USB, otherwise, it will sounds as standard.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

The design of this headset is as same as like the old one which is Corsair Void but it’s redesigned by adding some more improvements. The comfort is also good but with some problem. The sound is good but somewhere same as like the old one. The mic works good but not the best.

DESIGN:

Logitech G633

These feel pretty pro, they don’t feel cheap, they feel pretty hefty. The design of this headset is good and finished with the matte black color. There’s also premium features in this headset like RGB lighting, G keys and some more functions. Also, the design of the mic very good and new. The mic can be hide in the left ear cup of the headset when the mic is not in use.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

This doesn’t sit alongside the original, this is a straight replacement and if you look at it from a distance or even fairly up close. It’s a different headset but the design is more or less identical. At the top of the headset, the plastic finish is the same as it was before. It’s very strong and it’s lightweight but it doesn’t feel the cheap in the hand and in fact the entire headset does make that strong noise.

On the sides of the headset, I mean on the ear cups the Corsair logo is still illuminated with RGB. Overall, it still is quite a gamely looking thing but personally I do actually quite like it.

COMFORT:

Logitech G633

The ear cushions on the ear cups are not leather and it’s a cloth material. It feels like it could be comfortable. I can kind of see them being comfortable, these things completely engulfed your ear. They’ve definitely got a little bit more like awareness to them and weight to them. They’ve got definitely a lot more awareness when you put them on your head.

As far as comfort-ability wise, it feels like something I could definitely get used to but right off the ear cups, they feel a little different to me just because of some of their aesthetics.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

The top of the headband expands fully to fit any size head and it does go very large if you have a very large head. As far as comfort is concerned, this is definitely one of the most relaxing headsets to wear on your head and because it uses memory foam and then a very soft cloth. It doesn’t build up too much heat and it feels great against the side of your head. When you look at other headsets you’ve got people like Logitech that offer cloth as well but it’s a really sort of firm cloth but actually doesn’t really feel that great against the side of your head until it’s worn in whereas this straight of the box, you’re going to love how comfortable it is.

The main problem I had with the old one is that it’s just way too loose on my head and I wouldn’t say I’ve got particularly small head but merely moving the headset from left to right, it does like to slip. While, this headset doesn’t slide off and this is also not that much fit to me, this would be so much easier to recommend to everyone.

FEATURES:

Logitech G633

The G633 is 7.1 surround sound headset and another big selling point of this is that you can use 3.5 millimeter which will just kind of do surround sound or basic kind of stereo but you can use this in a PC mode with a USB that gives you true surround sound. It also has RGB lighting, I don’t like that too much but they look cool.

It has a 40 millimeter for your 3.5, it’s frequency responses 20 ohms. It does have a microphone that’s connected to it. So, with this headset you will get a 3.5 millimeter analog cable and you’ll get a USB, you can have both of them plugged up in the same time or use one whichever one you prefer. One thing I really liked is the cables are braided. I absolutely love braided cables, they just feel so good, it feels really good and durable. Also, you’ll get the USB which is primarily gonna be for your PC and your maybe your ps4 and Xbox one when you can’t use it on there like that as well. This is definitely about ten feet maybe eight feet, this is a very long cord which is awesome.

Now, one thing I noticed is this USB cable it does not have what the 3.5 has which is an adjuster to mute your microphone and volume but it does have a mic often on and it has a volume rocker on. This is actually have the volume control in the headset. I really wish this had volume rocker on the the chord.

There are some G programmable keys and RGB lighting on the back of the ear cups. the driver panels are interchangeable panels, you can take these panels off on the side and personalize it a little bit more. Now, it does have programmable buttons on the back. So apparently these are just like hotkeys like you would have on a gaming keyboard and you can switch between functionalities.

There’s a RGB on the back of the ear cups. There’s a few different modes that you can do it. The strip on the back of the ear cups and the G logo will light up. You won’t actually be seen anything like if you were streaming, pretty much everything’s on the side or on the back but nonetheless I think it’s a really cool feature.

Another point is when you’re using the 3.5 millimeter like you don’t get the RGB effect like that doesn’t work, it has to be plugged into USB. Now, you can still plug these in USB and you could still get like the lighting and still use a 3.5 but if you’re not going to do all that using the 3.5, I feel is kind of a waste of time. It doesn’t sound bad, it sounds good For the price that these are you’re not getting much more because they’re more the 3.5 function is a 3.5 function. If you’re only playing on 3.5 Jack on your controllers for your ps4, Xbox one or switch, it’s kind of wasting your money. The USB works for the ps4 but not with the Xbox one.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

The buttons on the left hand side of the headset can be used of course to control whatever’s going on with a button for turning it on and off, muting the microphone and then you’ve got a volume dial to adjust the volume but if you press it in both either with a short press or a long press, it can do different functions. So, I think it’s a short press for changing profile and then a long press for enabling the Dolby headphones tech that put the headset into one of those that has virtual surround sound.

The battery life is rated for 16 hours and in my experience, it seems to last a very long time. The range is pretty extraordinary and I can actually go to the other side of the house and still have it actually pick up a strong signal. It’s got RGB lights on it that can be synched up with other Corsair peripherals, this is all done with the corsair Q software which is very easy to use. I think it’s the best software like this on the market, still not perfect but it’s going to be very easy for you to tweak the EQ and if you do want to do things like turn the bass up which I recommend doing.

MICROPHONE:

Logitech G633

The microphone for this is not a detachable. In this headset, the microphone is actually kind of hidden in the aesthetics of the headphone. So, if you need, you can kind of just slide it out and then you can pull this out. You can bend the mic and put this in position and around your mouth.

Microphone doesn’t really come around super big-time to your mouth. I could be pleasantly surprised but I feel like it’s not gonna really pick up that much.

The volume is actually very easier to get to than I thought it would be. The microphone which I think is very cool. It beeps in your ear, when you pull it down letting you know that your microphone is on and extended and also when you go to put up your microphone, it beeps again in your ear, they’re two different kind of distinctive beeps.

The quality on the microphone is way better than I anticipated. I thought it be kind of off to the side, not being able to be positioned close to my mouth but I was pleasantly surprised. I think it sounds really good. I love the aesthetic of being able to hide this microphone but microphone is not bad at all not as good as something like the other higher end microphones.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

There isn’t a pop filter on the end of the microphone that should help to reduce the P sounds and that will come through the microphone but it doesn’t always do an absolutely perfect job. It’s a lot better than the last one was, I mean the last one really was pretty much of a lower end of the scale when it comes to sort of microphone quality. This one on the other hand is right up there, it’s very clear and it’s not anywhere as nasally as it was before and for pretty much everything, I would need to use it for which is in game chat or Skype calls or something like that.

SOUND:

Logitech G633

I use to listen the music direct from phone and for the phone, I need to use a 3.5 millimeter. They sound really good, they actually sound pretty decent for music. It’s not bass heavy but it’s not overbearing with bass but there’s definitely some bass in there. These sound decent, these could work for like headphones for jamming out for music. I think, they would get the job done pretty well.

I thought I would feel like a lot more, I does feel more surround sound but not like I feel like everything is incorporated from different angles. There is a huge difference in these headphones on the PC setting. The footsteps of the people that are around me can be heard well.

The the quality here is pretty damn good. I can hear the sounds coming from all different angles. So, I do feel like I’m gonna have kind of an advantage with these headphones for sure because it’s kind of hard getting used to right away. It’s gonna give you a lot more kind of technical edge, you can hear things coming and also react to them a little bit better versus also just seeing them. Being able to see is one thing but being able to hear where your enemy is coming like it really can give you somewhat of an advantage.

The surround sound is so cool. When I started playing, I started seeing the gunshots coming from different areas of my ear and the footsteps all around was cool. I’m super impressed as far as the PC mode. For the console, these really sound like just standard headphones. There’s really nothing outstanding. If you’re really gonna be buying these and using them for the 3.5 millimeter jack only, you’re not gonna get your money’s worth. Now, these feel like they’re just the equivalent of the Turtle Beach headsets.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

This is a redesigned headset, so realistically the audio quality should be vastly improved. Again, it does sound pretty similar to the old one. It’s not necessarily that much of a bad thing because the old one did actually sound very good. In both music and games, the performance level is actually excellent. Playing games like Battlefield one, gunshots come across very loudly and clearly you can distinctly make out the voices as well. Just generally, it does help the atmosphere when you’re playing a game but of course, it doesn’t really matter what you’re playing the void Pro does do a very good job of reproducing these sounds.

If you do want to widen the sound-stage as well, you can of course enable the Dolby headphone tech. While, this definitely won’t sound like a home theater, it can help in certain scenarios to sort of understand where the enemy is but if you’re thinking it’s going to magically turn you into a much better player in games a Call of Duty, search-and-destroy, I assure you it’s not but it is definitely worth playing about with.

CONCLUSION:

Logitech G633

The cons of the G633 headset is very plasticky feel which is not terrible. If you’re really familiar with cloth ear cups, it’s maybe something that you absolutely adore. Just wearing them for an hour, it gets hot and sweaty on the inside and they’re just not as comfortable as something like leather. When I’m wearing them, they’re very tight. Things that I actually really like about these headphones, first and foremost is putting them into the PC mode and the surround sound blew my mind. I mean, the sound quality is amazing as far as PC goes. The RGB lighting is cool, they’re nice aesthetics of it.

If you’re in the market for headphones and you do not plan on using your headphones in a USB manner in any way shape or form, these are in the 3.5 millimeter are pretty much the equivalent of the lower end headphones. So, for using only 3.5, this will not be worth for money.

Corsair Void Pro RGB Wireless

It’s a headset that is very similar to the old one. The fact is the microphone has been completely redesigned and is way better in every way than the last one which is definitely the number one thing I would have wanted them to change. However, it is not still completely clear-cut because for me.

The fit is a little bit too loose and it is going to depend from person to person and it’s not just head size, it’s more about what you prefer because this is not very fatiguing at all to where you can wear it for a long time without it starting to irritate you. I’d still prefer something that is a little bit tighter. It is more expensive but something like the Arctis 7, still feels quite comfortable but it’s just a little bit tighter against my head and doesn’t really move.

If you’re after something that represents great value for money, has good sound quality, and it’s actually very comfortable then it’s definitely a headset that strongly worth considering.
