The Logitech G633 Artemis Spectrum is the real deal, combining excellent audio for both games and music with a comfortable design, intuitive software and a bevy of extra features that make it ideal for PCs, consoles and mobile devices.
First let’s talk about the sound. This headset is definitely geared towards gaming for sure. It sounds best when gaming and that is to be expected. The Dolby Surround Sound and the DTS HeadphoneX are really a treat if you are using to the typical analog…
When Logitech decided to use two 40mm drivers with the G633 Artemis Spectrum that was enough to reduce its bass footprint considerably and so much like most similar gaming headsets in the market today if you like plenty of bass this is not the right…
Expert Reviews of Logitech G635:
The Logitech G635 are decent gaming headphones that have a great sound quality. Their wired connection is versatile and can be used with all platforms, which is convenient. They are comfortable, but their design is fairly bulky and doesn’t isolate any noise. Their microphone is also slightly bright, but….
Finishing almost exactly in the middle of the group overall, the Logitech G635 failed to merit any awards or other commendations. Our testers and judges didn’t find this headset to be all that comfortable but it does have decent sound and microphone quality. It also is packed with extra features….

The Logitech G635 are great gaming headphones that stand out on the market due to its excellent audio reproduction. It comes with a convenient software that offers a lot of settings and customisation options. Additionally, it provides long-lasting comfort, making…
For $200 the Logitech G635 does perform rather well, It does lack in bass a bit and for people with a bigger melon it isn’t all that comfortable. But for the rest of you looking for a decent RGB gaming headset, I can recommend….
This headset design is like a gaming headset and some premium features like RGB lighting, Programmable G keys. The comfort is also good enough, you use this one for any long hours. The sound of the headsets is also good, the highs, mids and bass, everything is good and balanced.
The Logitech was also one of the first people to make a 5.1 surround sound speaker system that’s geared towards gaming like way back in the early 2000. The Logitech G Series is always looks really clean, minimal, classy and it looks like a gaming product without being overly flashy. The comfort and the sound of the headset is also good and enough for the price.
This is one very solid headset from Logitech. The build is really solid and it’s made out of plastic. It’s got a retractable headbands, soft padding on the top and you can also tilt the ear cups which is slightly larger but they still do a very good job. Now, the face plates on the sides of the ear cups can be replaced. Even though they do light up, you can have them replace and Logitech said they will have different versions.
I really like the restraint that Logitech is showing, it looks very clean. Holding this headset in your hands, the construction and build quality really stands out to me. you’ve got the stainless steel headbands, hard plastic material encasing the stainless steel headband, some decorative etching that makes it look like a gamer product but in a good way.
At first you may feel little tight by trying it for the first time but after some time of wearing it, it will be fine and fit. The ear cups is also plush, soft and well comfortable. The headband will be supportive to make the headset fit and it’s little bit tight and it can be adjustable to all sizes of heads.
You’ve got some sort of memory foam padding over here on the ear cups and headband which is very comfortable. From an aesthetics point of view, it doesn’t look overly flashy by any means but it has some decorative etching over and a Logitech G glowing logo which is RGB. The cool think is you have a programmable RGB LED strip that runs across that your cup.
This is actually fit my ears perfectly. After a while, I got used to the weight of the headset which is not very heavy by the way. It felt like as if I wasn’t really wearing anything over my head which is great because that would allow me to focus more.
You’ve also got braided cables. Now, the initial batch that went out didn’t have braided cables according to Logitech but you can call them up to actually get the braided cables if you choose to and to send it to you free of charge. There’s the mobile cable, you have play post functionality, you do have mic mute as well as also mic as well as gaming mic options in there. So, you do have some options with the mobile cable for this.
The headset allows you to pair both the mobile cable and PC at the same time. So, you can listen to music or do something else answer phone calls while actually using this headset. This is obviously a RGB headset, this is up to million colors. The software of the headset is very important for the colors as well as also the audio for this headset.
On the left hand ear cup of the headset, you’ve got a toggle switch here for PC and 3.5 mm track. You’ve got your profile buttons there, you can set this profile balance for anything from lighting into games to even some of the sound effects of volume control. Also, there’s a headphone jack as well as a USB for PC and actually you can listen to both at the same time.
The other main feature with the Logitech G633 headphones is actually the software, the Logitech Gaming software which houses the software for your headphones has a couple of features. They are the lighting effects which are range from breathing color cycle to solid colors and this can be customized in the software, you’ve got 16.8 million colors which you can customize and change. You’ve also got a custom lighting setting where you can go ahead and pick select colors, you can actually create your own colors or just go through the color range. You can set your lighting zones, you can turn off the lighting on the logo on the sides and you can also put lighting effects on each one either sides or logo or both whichever way you want.
Also, you can actually customize that for the different games. You can either select between DTS X or Adobe Digital 7.1 and with Dolby Digital you have your preset 7.1 areas. You can of course increase or reduce the audio on each section like left side louder, right upper a little bit lower, things like that to make your sound a little bit more customizable for you.
The cool and the stand out things about this headset is its robust features. It has the five programmable buttons on the side of the ear cup, a mute button, volume wheel as well. Also, you can choose between a USB plug and a 3.5 millimeter audio jack. So, you can switch from PC mode to a 3.5 mm audio jack but running through the software you have all those features programmable buttons as well different sound profiles, equalization profiles, 7.1 surround sound included.
It’s got a drop-down boom mic which also extends out and one of the cool things about the mic is also gives you auditory sounds and this is actually being pulled out or being muted and it actually lights up there which is really cool.
While gaming, it sounds excellent and clear, everyone definitely loves it. They said it comes up pretty clear and sharp, very solid audio all together. Now in with recording audio you can hear that it does sound a little bit muffled and but it does a very good job in blocking surrounding sound. It is absolutely amazing with the noise cancellation features.
There’s a retractable microphone which is very good. Now, there’s a lot of gaming headphones out there you can’t retract the mic you can’t remove the mic and I just used the headset for audio. In this, you can be able to retract the mic and it looks very neat and clean when the mic is retractable, it doesn’t look very bulky at all. It’s definitely gonna get the job done for discord a team comms, obviously it’s not to be a broadcast quality microphone but it’s pretty decent and it sounds fine.
I think the real thing is what you have with DTS headphone X from DTS. They have the DTS 7.1 which is a room setup that DTS has set up themselves for what they think the perfect room audio should be. Then, you have a first-person of room audio setup as well as the Logitech signature studio setup which is what I checked out. This gives you different array of setups for the specific sound. So, first-person shooters is what they think all first-person shooter should sound with the audio and Logitech has said that they’ve approached a certain game manufacturers. Besides that, you also have the DTS super stereo mode either in front or wide bring in the sound closer or slightly around you.
I really love the experience from DTS headphone X. It really give something like vibrant and it’s very robust that you can really feel audio going around especially when you’re gaming it with FPS mode where you can really hear not just the steps behind you, you can actually get the directional steps to a point where that’s your left or right hand side. It gives you much more flexibility while gaming and also gives you a better experience as a gamer.
This is a very good sounding headset. Obviously, a bit heavy on the bass as with most gaming headsets are especially those gaming headsets produced a couple of years ago. I found that with the flat EQ response mode, the headset sounds fairly accurate. You’re gonna be using this for games not to produce music anyway.
When you use it in game, you’re gonna be hearing I assume it’s the bass frequencies are boosted because you’re supposed to be hearing footsteps louder and gunshots and explosions louder. Those low frequencies are gonna be basically boosted. So, you would be able to pinpoint the location of the enemy faster. Instead of a flat EQ response where the sound but typically sounds dull for you to be able to hear every frequency but obviously in a gaming setting, you want to be immersed in the audio and you want those loud explosions and I think this headset really achieves that out of the box. If you tinker around with the equalization, you can get it to sound flat if you want to. Not a lot of headsets offer that much flexibility and the G633 offers that flexibility, it’s just a really good.
The headphones feel very comfortable and when it comes to listening to audio, it sounds absolutely fantastic. Literally, I put them down as my best listening gaming headphones. Overall, the audio experience is fantastic. I think they’re worth it. They cover a lot of aspects all together and I think a lot of people will definitely enjoy using the Logitech G633 gaming headset.
This is really a comfortable product that sounds good. So, I think that overall this is a good headset and it really boggles my mind. I’m used a lot of gaming headsets in the past especially this year and so far, this one has the most features. This one is one of the better sounding ones and like in a moderate price range. So, I think this is definitely worth considering.
