Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech K350

The Logitech K350 is a nice keyboard and this keyboard is also called as comfort wave wireless K350 keyboard from Logitech. This keyboard rally very comfortable keyboard with its wavy design. This keyboard is retailing for a least price of thirty-seven dollars and highest price of around two hundred and ninety dollars currently on Amazon.

Logitech ERGO K860

Logitech Ergo K860 is one of the most comfortable keyboards available in the market. This is an ergonomic keyboard that Logitech has created and it seems like they release a new product almost every single week. This keyboards is retailing for around a hundred and ten dollars.

Logitech K350

DESIGN:

Logitech K350

At first glance the keyboard looks really good, what I really like about it is you know you’ve got kind of like over the end of the keyboard. It is ergonomic, so it’s gonna be really good for people who are going to be spending a lot of time typing and on their keyboards. It has also got a wave kind of pattern here if can notice that easily and there will be WAVE written on the space bar. Then you’ve got quite a few programmable keys, so you’ve got shortcuts for Word Excel, calendar, and you’ve got A B and C keys, these are programmable keys, then Internet Explorer, and so on.

On the top of the keyboard, you’ve got a music key, your volume up and volume down keys, mute keys, you’ve got forward and backward keys, and all your media keys. There’s another thing I like about this keyboard that is you can actually prop it up and what I really like about it is, you’ve got two different levels of this. You’ve also got a separate calculator key that’s another welcome addition to this model keyboard. You’ve got your battery slot over the backside of the keyboard and you get a couple of batteries that are non-rechargeable and these batteries are supposed to last up to about three years that’s what Logitech claims.

Logitech ERGO K860

The main reason why this keyboard is great is because of the design of it and it’s kind of shaped like a wave in the ocean. So, Logitech spent a lot of time trying to find the right angle, the right curves, and just really everything with this keyboard to make sure that if you are using this to type for a very long time, you’re not gonna get a lot of stress on your wrists and your hands and that’s because it does have a very nice significant curve that actually splits up the keyboard into two. It really does look like you can just break a keyboard in half with your bare hands and place it down and it will look similar to this.

They have done a lot of testing with a lot of people and I have to say just from my time with it again for a few weeks, it is something that is very comfortable. Then when you look down on the keys that are right there at the split, some of them do have an extra kind of extended key there, so you can still press that in to activate that particular key. But they did this just to keep everything uniform, so we are looking down at the keyboard you don’t have things that are kind of off to the side here and off to the side there. Everything is still in a straight line on both sides and all the way at the bottom, the spacebar is split into two as well.

Logitech ERGO K860

FEATURES:

Logitech K350

The keyboard comes in a nice box, and on the front of the box, there will be the picture of the Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350and again on the side you’ve got the Logitech branding Wireless Keyboard K350. On the back, you’ve got a quick feature and again a picture of the keyboard, more details, and the specifications. On the other side, you’ve got the details about package contents, system requirements, and so on. When we open the box up, we will find the keyboard itself, user guide, and the driver desk, you’ve got a USB extension for this keyboard and Logitech’s universal adapter or receiver what Logitech calls Logitech Unifying receiver. Another thing is that as it’s a universal USB receiver which means it can connect up to six different devices. For example, if you use a compatible Logitech product like the M950 Performance MX Wireless mouse, you wouldn’t have to use two receivers you can just pair both your keyboard and your mouse with one, so that’s pretty good.

In the software that comes with the K350 wireless keyboard, you’ve got a lot of customizations, you’ve got hotkey settings for different ones, you can go ahead and change them over here, you can also set keystroke or set actions for keys and you can also restore it to defaults. It also shows the functions of the “F” key does and the “F” key shortcuts over here, so you can select which function you want that key to do. For example, for people who don’t use internet explorer, you can customize it to launch Google Chrome instead. It’s really good, there are a lot of customizations here and it also shows you the battery level and the low battery notifications, and so on. Also, in the software you can inactive keys, you can disable caps lock, disable Windows Start key, and so on. Another good thing in this software, when you press the caps lock, it actually shows you that on-screen and you can also set it to sound an alert.

Logitech ERGO K860

This keyboard can easily allow you to switch between multiple different computers or devices, so I had this paired with my Windows gaming computer and also with my Mac that is used for my editing. So, you can pair this with your devices either via Bluetooth or using the Unifying USB receiver that comes with the keyboard. Switching between your devices is really simple just by using the three buttons at the top of your keyboard to do that. This also works with their Logitech Flow software, so if you do have a compatible Logitech mouse, this allows you to simply drag the mouse cursor from one screen over to another screen of another computer, and then now that computer would take control of the mouse and also the keyboard. These software things can be controlled with their Logitech Options software.

The thing that really makes this keyboard comfortable is the wrist rest and this is all one solid piece from the keyboard to this rest at the bottom, so you can’t take it off. I have to mention that this is really the star of the show because it is made out of three different materials including a high-density foam, a memory foam, and then also you have the fabric at the top which is going to be really easy to clean. If you’re just sitting at your desk and you have your wrist sitting on the kind of the hard edge of a desk, it’s not comfortable, it’s not something that’s very ideal, you wouldn’t want to go to sleep on a desk like this, but this memory foam, high-density foam combination that Logitech has going on here will help you. But one thing I do have a concern with is it’s just that it’s not removable, so it is just one solid piece with the keyboard, so if you do accidentally you like scratch it up maybe with your watch or something randomly or you really just kind of tear it up somehow you can’t really replace it, you have to replace the entire keyboard.

Logitech K350

PERFORMANCE:

Logitech K350

The wavy design of this keyboard and peg ups of this keyboard is what that is really good  about this keyboard because this gonna give you a good typing experience and also make you more comfortable while typing. The travel distance of the keys of this keyboard is really good and you can feel it, its almost like all other keyboards from Logitech.

Logitech ERGO K860

This keyboard is super comfy to use for a long time and I do like the keys on this keyboard and the travel distance it’s about what Logitech has been doing recently, not too much, not too little, just right there is a good sweet spot. Again the biggest thing you just have to get used to, it’s just a layout of the keys which can take a little time but for most people, it will start to feel natural faster than you think.

Logitech ERGO K860

WHICH TO BUY?

In my opinion, Logitech ERGO K860 because it is better than the Logitech K350 because comfort wise the Logitech ERGO K860 is better than the Logitech K350 as the ERGO K860 has the wrist pad additionally along with the wavy design of the K350, it gives more comfort while typing for a longer period of time.
