Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

The Logitech H800 Wireless Bluetooth headset costs a hundred dollars on the official website and considered an economy pair in this category. These are one of the business headphones that can also play music and meetings. These are one of the oldest pair of wireless business headphones.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

The Jabra Evolve 75 MS stereo is an older headset but I think even the fact that it is older it’s still worthwhile today. These headsets are currently retailing for a higher price of around three hundred dollars. These are not the headset for playing games and listening to music these are for office purposes but still these works good for listening to music.

DESIGN & BUILD QUALITY:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

They’re quite plastic which I guess is what you would expect for the price. They include a USB adapter so you can use these for Bluetooth or with the USB adapter. They’ve got a little volume up-down, mute, and call connect button on one side. They’re kind of a little bit creepy and plastically but they’re still kind of very solid condition. They don’t come with a case.

I would say there’s a little USB adapter and it’s contained nicely within the left headset which I think is useful. It has a little slide fiddly button on the side, a USB charge port and there is the main power on and you can slide them hold that up in order to sync with other devices but you have to hold the plus button at the same time. So it should be now in sync mode and you may see the flashing light there.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

When it comes to wearing this headset it has left and right mainly because the microphone cannot be worn on either side. It does have a strong magnet but it can only flip down on the right side and it can’t go back to the left side. Another thing you can do with the headset is when you push the left button, when not on a call you can actually activate ambient aware mode so you could hear your surroundings.

There are no music controls to get play- pause or anything. You can access Siri with the mute button and when holding it but it’s still besides that you can’t really operate your phone to do anything with the headset itself beyond activating your assistant.

COMFORT:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

The earpads themselves are quite thin and not the most comfortable. I’ve used it and to be honest but still perfectly okay for one to two hours. There is not much padding on the headband but still, they are ok. One thing I noticed while using these is I do feel hot and sweaty after wearing these for more than two hours.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

The issue that a lot of people run into with headsets like this especially, since they’re on-ear primarily is ear fatigue. But the way these cups sit on ears at least for my ears I’ve had any ear fatigue rarely even after a few hours of use.

FEATURES:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

While Logitech has made some compromises of material quality, the functionality and comfort were not neglected for the price. In addition to the USB dongle for your PC, you can also pair this with your mobile phone. All headset controls are located on the right speaker. This headset works well with apps such as Cisco Jabber and Skype for business and it does well for music. So it doesn’t matter if you are a gamer or an office dweller, this headset delivers great performance for any occasion and at a relatively low price.

Spares appear to be widely available including the foam replacement, head headset cover, etc. The microphone drops down there as it is retractable and it does look a little bit odd. It doesn’t extend all the way around. The battery is replaceable so you can change the battery once as you started to lose its life but that was after a lot of use. I think that’s actually a good thing.

These headphones are not perfect, they do the job pretty well. They are good value for money, they are more durable than they look and the audio quality was better than expected. So really not that bad actually. They’ll stand up to travel pretty well, they sound better than you might expect for the price.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

This headset has more than enough for you it doesn’t matter if you use this for gaming, for professional, sales calls, conferences, or just wanting a really cool headset for talking on the phone, this headset has more than enough for you to be able to perform whatever task you’re doing and related to making calls.

Those who had sidetone features that were neat and convenient you can adjust it. It’s actually a good thing because I think Jabra engineered it to be at the perfect volume with ANC on or with ANC off. Because with ANC on it lowers it a little bit but there’s a reason why it does that because the purpose of ANC is to block out all external noise. Jabra designed it to where they didn’t want too much coming in.

The active noise-canceling is actually better than the Zone Wireless and the Voyager focus I would mention at least two times better. When I’m at a coffee shop or I’m in a noisy environment for at least a couple hours and then I take my headset off I noticed the different way more than I did on the Voyager Focus and also the Zone Wireless.

BATTERY:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

These have a six-hour battery life which is pretty decent. The micro USB is used in these for charging purposes. These headsets take around three hours to get fully charged. At this price range and considering this to be an older model headset these have pretty good battery life.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

Jabra is claiming 18 hours Talktime and 17 hours of music playback time but when I do turn on the headset it usually says 15 hours remaining after I take it off the charging stand. Although it has a micro USB into USB Type-C which is really good and it does charge pretty quickly.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

MICROPHONE:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

If you’re actually trying to do any type of professional audio recording whether you’re doing captivate videos or just trying to get something onto a file, this is not a good headset. There’s lots of background noise it does not amplify very well. While that might be appropriate for a Skype session or maybe some other online maybe it goes to the meeting session and it might be serviceable for that.

If you’re actually trying to record a professional video recording, this is not the headset you want to use as it is serviceable for other things. If you want to plug it into your phone or if you want to plug it into your laptop and just talk online, it’ll get the job done although not very well.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

Without any background noise, it sounded good. When I turn on the ANC to check if the microphone quality is affected by it, hopefully, it sounded good and you can’t hear all the outside noise but hopefully, you get the speaker’s voice well. Besides the microphone quality with this headset second thing, the sidetone along with the microphone quality is better than the Zone Wireless and it’s also better than the Voyager Focus.

SOUND:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

These headsets are obviously not designed for the purpose of gaming or listening it is designed for office purpose. For that purpose, it really sounds pretty good at this price range. They are loud enough to get interacted. At this price and being an older model headset, these are really pretty good at the sound stage.

Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo

Using this around the office or whatever you do in between calls to actually listen to music, it’s definitely worthwhile for listening to music it actually sounds like a pair of headphones meant for playing music. This is not gonna be Bose quality or Sony quality or anything like that but it has its own sound signature but it’s gonna be just right where it needs to be. This is not a pair of headphones for just listening to music and getting the best out of that, this is a headset that is trying to be everything the only thing you need for what you do for work and for when you’re making calls that’s the primary focus of this headset.

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

WHICH TO BUY?

In my opinion, the Jabra Evolve 75 MS Stereo is good for you to buy because these sounds better for office, gaming, and music purposes, these have a better comfort level and these have better battery life than the Logitech Wireless Headset H800.

Expert reviews of Logitech Wireless Headset H800:

In terms of design, the Logitech H800 is a headset with basic looks- it’s got the usually adjustable headband, foam pads with no felt or cloth covers, a protruding microphone arm and it’s got controls on one side. In terms of build quality, it’s not too impressive. The headset is understandably designed to be light, but a sudden jolt or twist could break the headband easily. There’s a provision to fold the headphones, so it’s a little easy to carry around.

By Digit
At Rs. 6,595 the Logitech Wireless Headset H800 fell expensive. Their build quality is sub-par and the audio output is consistent. If wireless headphones are an absolute necessity, then you may want to consider these otherwise we suggest you pick up a nice pair of wired headphones, which will do more justice to your music needs.
