INTRODUCTION:

Logitech Z623

The Z623 speaker system is from Logitech and these speaker sets are retailing for around a hundred and nineteen dollars which is a steal of a deal. These are the 2.1 speaker system which means these comes with two satellite speakers and one subwoofer.

Logitech Z337

The Logitech Z337 is also a 2.1 speaker system that comes with two satellite speakers and one dial to control volume and also power on the speaker system. These Speaker systems are currently retailing for around a hundred dollars.

DESIGN AND FEATURES:

Logitech Z623

The right speaker is going to control your bass volume, it’s also got your power switch on it, input and output for audio as well. Whereas the left speaker on the other hand is just going to be a speaker but that’s okay because it’s necessary for that stereo effect. It’s got a regular RCA style connector whereas the right unit has a more elaborate connector that’s because of that power switch and those volume knobs. The last thing in the box besides the subwoofer is a mini-jack cable as going to be used to connect your audio source to this system. This system also has RCA inputs if you prefer to connect that way and the last thing we got is the manuals.

You’re getting lots of power for your money, these are 200 watts with the THX certification so they are going to bang out your music, your games, or whatever else you want to throw at. The reason I say your music and your games is because these have three inputs you can have them hooked up to a game system, a computer, and one other audio source all at once. Most computer speakers only connect to one audio source so that’s special.

The subwoofer is obviously the biggest item, what’s special about this is, it’s an omnidirectional subwoofer. It means if you got to hide it in a corner, it’s still going to sound great. The right speaker connects right in this section there behind the subwoofer, it’s the only place it can go obviously whereas the left speaker goes below. You’ll notice the auxiliary input at the top, it’s the same style cable as the left speaker but you don’t want to use those. Those are inputs and the bottom one is an output. So you’ve got the two inputs up there behind the subwoofer and you’ve got another input on the right speaker on its side as well as a headphone output so that you can bypass the system if you want to use headphones.

Logitech Z337

T Logitech Z337 comes with 40 watts RMS and 80 Watts peak power, two satellite speakers, and a subwoofer. The thing that made these speakers really good for the price is, that the connectivity here is via Bluetooth. That is one less cable to worry about and with the headphone jack disappearing from everywhere, having Bluetooth makes the speaker’s future-proof.

As long as the design goes, the Z337 is pretty normal, nothing fancy going on here in terms of design language. The build quality of the speakers is absolutely amazing. Logitech products generally have a good design and build and the Z337 are no exception in that matter.

The speakers have an old-school dial to control the volume, it also contains all the buttons to switch on or off the speakers, and also the Bluetooth pairing button. This dial also houses the 3.5 mm audio jack, if you don’t want to use a Bluetooth connection. I have to say controlling the volume with this dial is super cool and I just love it and I really like this implementation.

SOUND QUALITY:

Logitech Z623

The Logitech Z623 sounds really loud enough and great. With the help of the THX certification, you can enjoy the movies and games with these speakers. I don’t think you can get more power or better power for 120 dollars. I got some bass playing back on the subwoofer and placed some paper on it and it has no problem in pushing around those papers which means it has got enough bass for the price on which it is retailing for.

Logitech Z337

I have been using these speakers on my desk and they sound incredible. The mids and highs are loud and clear and the low end is mind-blowing. The subwoofer houses a dial to control the low end which comes in very handy as various situations require various levels of bass.

WHICH ONE IS BETTER FOR THE PRICE?

In my opinion, Logitech Z337 is better for the price than the Z623 which is only twenty dollars less than the Z623 currently, and for that much lower price it comes with a great subwoofer and it sounds really better and loud than the Z623.
