Apple Watch Series 7 Nike VS Apple Watch Series 7: Which One is Better?

There seems to be a lot of confusion surrounding these two apple watches because, even though they are both models of the Series 7, only one is the Nike edition, and the other is the standard model.

In this post, I will compare the benefits and drawbacks of choosing between the Nike and standard apple watches. Let’s get started.

Design

  • Red ring around the digital crown of an Apple watch shows it’s a LTE Seller.

The Nike edition has a midnight body design, and you can tell it’s a nice watch by looking at the back, which displays the Nike logo. This particular model is the LTE-enabled Nike series 7 apple watch.

If there is a red ring around the digital crown of an apple watch, it is a LTE seller, and if there is no red ring around the digital crown, as previously stated; it is not a LTE seller.

Color Choices

  • The standard Series 7 Apple Watch comes with five different color options.
  • Whereas the Nike edition only offers two color options.

However, suppose you choose the standard Series 7 Apple Watch. In that case, you can choose from five different color options, whereas the Nike edition only offers two color options: midnight and the new starlight color.

Additionally, if you choose the regular series 7, you can choose between five colors: this darker green, the light blue color we previously discussed, product red, starlight, and midnight.

Watch Bands

  • The Nike edition comes with two band options.

You have more watch bands to choose from when purchasing the regular Series 7 App Watch, especially if you visit the Apple website and use their Creative Suite to upgrade some of them. This will adjust the price differences, saving you from purchasing two bands. Instead, you could upgrade the silicon one, which will credit the differences.

There are only two band options for the Nike edition: this one with several holes, which draws design inspiration from the original Apple Watch band, and the silicon one, which only has more holes.

It has all these holes because they are practical and breathable, which helps anyone known to have sweaty wrists stay cool and dry. Additionally, you have this band to select from since it has been completely updated for this year’s model.

The loop band no longer came with a reflective yarn option; today, it also features the Nike logo. Previously, there was only a thoughtful yarn option for the loop band. It has a practical design and is washable and breathable.

Watch Faces & Complications

  • Only the Nike Edition has access to the special Nike watch faces.
  • Apple Watches include built-in GPS to track your outdoor activities without needed to be connected to Wi-Fi.

You receive other internal bonuses when using the Nike Edition Apple Watch over the Standard Apple Watch, like Additional Watch Faces.

When comparing the two watch libraries they bundle with Watch OS 8, you can find all the ordinary Apple Watch faces, including the new Series 7, on the Nike Edition, but only the Nike Edition has access to the special Nike watch faces.

You have more personalized customization options with the Nike edition than you would on the standard Apple Watch. Some of these watch faces are incredibly cool because they all share a unique style, especially with the always-on display.

Nevertheless, there is a look for everyone in the series 7 library collection; there is something for everyone. Because of the Nike logo, the Nike edition watch faces also provide a substantial stylish shortcut.

If you press it immediately, it will launch the Nike Club app, which is not just available on the Nike edition of the Apple Watch but is also free to download independently. It provides much more data than the typical workout app and can be downloaded on the standard Apple Watch.

You don’t need to be connected to Wi-Fi to track your outdoor activities, such as runs or hikes, because these Apple Watches include built-in GPS. You may use them to track your outdoor runs.

Including the application. It’s a community-driven software, so you may invite your friends to compete against one another, but it’s not at all exclusive, to give it a fast summary. If you want to put it on your watch face, you can download this on the Series 7 Apple Watch, but it will eat up complication space.

The watch faces the Nike Edition features, freeing up your complexity. You tap on the Nike Logo, and it launches.

Features & Package

  • Both bands have the same features.
  • The standard Apple Watch 7 will come in its standard white packaging.
  • Whereas the Nike edition comes with nice black package.

The storage is still the same. It has an ECG, a heart rate sensor, an always-on altimeter, a full-detection compass, and noise decibel monitoring for hearing safety.

Due to the fact that it performs identically to the most recent Apple Watch model and both have the same level of water resistance, these two are still the most durable Apple Watches on the market.

The standard Apple Watch 7 will come in its standard white packaging, whereas the Nike edition comes with this nice black package and has the Nike logo next to the Apple Watch logo. Although it could withstand hard impact falls and other things, looking at the packaging is another way to tell these two apart.

Price

The entry-level price for both of these starts at $399; however, it is $30 more if you choose the significantly larger screen size version, making it $429 rounded up to $430 plus tax, of course.

Both of these apple watches have larger screen versions, the 45 millimeters and the smaller 41 millimeters, still available on both.

Conclusion

So ultimately, I’ve concluded that if you choose a standard, neutral color like midnight or starlight, you might want to consider getting the Nike edition because it costs the same but offers more watch faces to choose from.

If you’re upgrading from an older apple watch and don’t like the band, you can use the bands you already had on them, all the way back to the series 3 body design. Just make sure the band is the larger size version for the apple watch because the larger body will fit the larger body, so that you can swap it out and they’re both fully compatible. The smaller body apple watch bands will also fit the smaller size series 7 apple watch.

On the Series 7, even the wireless charging puck works. However, if you’re trying for an external appearance and don’t really care about formal colors and instead want something that does suit you better, choosing the regular Apple Watch Series 7 will provide you access to a far more comprehensive range of color options and band options.
