Glorious Model O Wireless

The fact that both of these mice have a matte black finish and are honeycomb-shaped initially makes them seem to have a lot in common, as well as a similar look, feel, and overall design. However, they are pretty different, and the purpose of this post is to compare the two and highlight the differences. It provides a low latency connection using a USB 2.4 GHz wireless adapter and can run without the RGB lighting for about 70 hours.

It has a standard USB, an adapter that is a small dongle, and a glorious extender that plugs into the back of the device and has a beautiful logo. This device sits on your desk and is stable because it has a friendly rubberized housing. That USB-C charging cable, which requires you to plug it in one way and not the other, is difficult to plug in, which is unfortunate. On the other hand, the cable is incredibly flexible—it resembles a thin shoelace, so that’s a plus.

SteelSeries Aerox 3 wireless

It differs slightly from the Steel Series Aerox 3. Additionally, this mouse uses a wireless dongle and has an extender with two USB Type-C ports. Both the charging cable and the included dongle are USB Type-C, so if your computer doesn’t have one, you’ll need to use the extended dock to be able to plug the dongle into it and establish a wireless connection to the mouse.

Then there is the braided USB-C charging cable, which is a typical setup and can be plugged in either way without any issues, so that’s almost certainly not a problem. The Aerox 3 now outperforms the glorious Model O in terms of battery life; it has a battery life of up to 80 hours over 2.4 GHz wireless, with the added benefit of a Bluetooth connection.

Although using it in wireless mode is preferred because you’ll have a stronger, more accurate low latency connection, the fact that it has multiple connection options with wired wireless and Bluetooth makes it very appealing. The Bluetooth connection can give you up to 200 hours of battery life, so you can get much more battery life if you use it that way.

Glorious Model O Wireless: Features

1. Lighting Zones

The magnificent model O now has three lighting zones: one on the left, one on the right, and on the mouse wheel, some RGB lighting leaks out from the middle. It has a matte appearance. This mouse comes in either black or white. They both have rough textured finish because they are map variants, which makes them comfortable to hand, so you don’t lose grip on them while lovely gaming. I also found it to be enjoyable to use.

2. Clicks

Clicks are also enjoyable. It uses mechanical switches made by Omron, which have a 20 million click rating. Six of your buttons are programmable. They claim it has an ambidextrous design, but there are two thumb buttons on the left side of the mouse, which is something to keep in mind. The mouse also has a two-meter charging cable and several other features, such as the ability to change the polling rate, lift-off distance, and debounce time in the software.

3. DPI Levels

You’ll also notice a DPI switching button on the top, and a small light on the underside indicates the DPI level you are currently using. You can set up multiple DPI levels within the software and switch between them with a simple click on the top, making it nice and straightforward. However, it is odd to see that light while playing a game so it won’t be simple.

SteelSeries Aerox 3 wireless: Features

1. Design

The Aerox 3 triumphs once more for a few additional reasons. First off, the RGB lighting is better, and you’ll see that again in a second, but from the top view, you can also see that it has a honeycomb-like design and a matte finish. The ABS plastic is also rough in hand but comfortable and has an attractive finish.

2. Water Resistance

The other feature of this mouse is that it is rated ip54, which means that it has some water resistance and resistance to dirt and dust. As a result, it is made to withstand some of the issues that honeycomb mice, in general, encounter.

3. RGB Lighting

The underside emits more RGB lighting, as I mentioned, and you also get more from inside the honeycomb area, which is another way that RGB lighting stands out a little bit more.

Glorious Model O Wireless vs SteelSeries Aerox 3 wireless: Size & Comfort

Both mice are comparable in terms of comfort and fit in my hand because I have a slightly larger hand and think this is a good size. These mice are comparable in size and shape, so they’re both for medium to large hands. Both of these mice are a good size and comfortable for gaming and working all day into the night.

Both of these mice’s frames appear solid and durable, and with the Aerox 3 wireless, they specifically designed it so that you can see more of the RGB lighting. As a result, it comes with a ring around the bottom. Now that the Aerox 3 is ergonomic with a claw or fingertip grip and designed as a right-handed gaming mouse, that’s where they want to start.
