Detailed Review

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech M510

Logitech M510 is a fast and precise mouse. Its contoured shape and soft rubber grip body give good comfort in hands. This is a full-size and wireless laser mouse that comes equipped with two back/forward buttons which are located on the left side of the mouse, which makes it easier to move quickly. Simply plug the USB receiver into the computer or laptop to start working in seconds.

Logitech M325

Logitech M325 is small in size but great for users with smaller hands, even for kids or limited workspaces. The micro-precise scrolling and tilt wheel provide the accuracy and speed you need. It’s easy to use and is designed for both left and right-handed users. It is available in solid colors and funky patterns. Logitech M325 is perfect for laptops and netbooks.

DESIGN & COMFORT:

Logitech M510

Logitech M510 has a contoured shape and soft rubber grips which ensures comfort during prolonged use. It’s got some nice grip on the side. It has feet on the bottom so it glides really nicely. All the buttons work really well they’re really clicky. The grips on the sides are working really well. The feet have held up over time. Now, this isn’t a Bluetooth mouse, so some people may prefer having a Bluetooth mouse with a MacBook. I just like how reliable these are and how nice that they fit your hand.

Logitech M325

Logitech M325 has a contoured shape. At the bottom of the mouse, it has a very typical button. It has the regular on and off button, it has the light beam responsible for the mouse positioning.

The mouse is very compact in size it barely fills the palm of your hand. It has rubber grips on the sides, it makes it very comfortable to handle. The scrolling is a bit loose which can be very annoying. There is also the light for the battery indicator to see when your battery is running out.

FEATURES & PERFORMANCE:

Logitech M510

It comes with a built-in folder for a USB dongle with a 2.4 gigahertz frequency that it communicates. You just have to plug the USB  into your computer and make sure that the mouse is on from the switch, when it is off the light will be red and when it’s on it will be green. On the top of the mouse, there you have a light indicator showing if it’s on or off. There is a standard wheel, left-click, and right-click.

The nice thing about using these Mouse’s with a Windows laptop is it automatically installs the drivers for the mouse, so all the buttons work immediately once you plug the dongle in. One of the nice features of Logitech M510 is that on the left side, there is a back button and a forward button. So, if you’re on webpages, you can scroll forward or back. The other nice feature is that these are only around $20, you may pay a couple of extra bucks to get one in the red or blue color.

One thing about using this Logitech mouse with the MacBook is the left and right-click buttons as well as the scrolling wheel will automatically work when you plug the dongle into a Mac. However, the buttons on the side, the forward and back buttons are not going to work immediately, you have to manually install the driver. So for that, you need to download the appropriate software and drivers for the Logitech M510 mouse in order to allow or enable the forward and backward buttons to work, that’s on the left-hand side of the mouse. For enabling the forward and backward buttons, you need to do is either Google it or go to Logitech’s website directly and search for the Logitech M510 driver. After downloading, make sure to choose whichever operating system you’re running.

One more feature of this mouse is that, after downloading and installing the software drivers, you can configure the forward and backward buttons in any way you like. you can also change up with the button functions and also you can always restore to default mode. So that’s all you need to do to get your mouse set up.

Logitech M325

The mouse has a unifying feature by Logitech. Another feature is the forward and backward side buttons, this can be used with internet browsers to go forward or go backward when browsing the internet. The buttons also work with some other programs like Windows Media Player. There is also the place where you can store your nano dongle receiver, it’s a useful feature when you are moving around a lot with your mouse, so that’s a good place to store the dongle.

Overall the mouse is well built for its price. However, the only annoying thing is the looseness of the scrolling many times not just sometimes, many times, when you try to middle click on something, you end up unintentionally scrolling the screen and end up with a misplaced click, so it can get pretty annoying, this is the only downside of this mess.

It performs smoothly on the different surfaces, on the solid colored mousepad, and on the wooden surface that has a tiled background, it works smoothly and the most important even on the glass surface also it works smoothly. It’s really amazing that what this mouse is doing with was glass, it’s very smooth, some other mice don’t have this smoothness when it comes to sitting on top-class, because the glass breaks the reflections that are used to position the mouse. So this mouse is doing very well.

BATTERY:

Logitech M510

The battery life on this mouse really does last about a year and a half to 2 years. It runs on two AA batteries. On the back of the mouse, there’s also a pull tab for the battery, you can call it battery slide or cover. The mouse comes with pre-installed two AA Duracell batteries which are really nice. It even comes with a little pull tab right there, so that if you need to lift the batteries out, you just have to pull up on that tab and it makes getting the batteries out a little easier and that’s really a nice feature.

Logitech M325

The battery life of this mouse is up to 18 months. It runs on a single AA battery and of course, it depends on the battery capacity and some other factors but the average is 18 months battery life. The mouse comes with a 3-year warranty.
