This is the review of the comparison between the Google Pixel Buds and the Apple Airpods. As far as the price the Google pixel Buds have more price than the Apple AirPods, but the price doesn’t matter in front of the quality, and the features we get from. Both these products have some similar features and a few different features so, the question of “which to buy?” becomes difficult. To get your answer go to the detailed review.

INTRODUCTION:
Google Pixel Buds
The new 2020 Google Pixel Buds are way better. They are miles better than the previous ones. They are in my top three favorite wireless earbuds. The thing that makes them so good is just that, they nail all the fundamentals like really well and I’ve just been rock-solid to use.
Apple Airpods
The special thing about the Apple Airpods is Wireless, which has the w1 chip. This is new, and they look like a slightly larger version of the Apple Airpods with a longer stem. They really fit good in our ears.
BUILD QUALITY:
Google Pixel Buds
The case has a sweet soft-touch, matte finish. I like the white one and it’s got a black and white contrast like the Panda Pixel basically. There’s matching lights one on the inside and one on the outside.
The buds are also white if you want to go a little more look there is also a black version and some other colors coming soon, but they’re also very small.
The buds just go right in and snap satisfyingly into place with the magnets pretty easily. The magnets are strong, so they’re easy to get out, but once you snap them in they’re not going anywhere. It has a satisfying snap shut with the magnets and the hinge. A lot of earbuds have this, but not all of them do. This one is really nice. It’s just small, it’s just like a little small little pebble case, and it’s really pocketable. It’s around the same size the same volume as an ear pods pro case.
Apple Airpods
The charging case is small enough to fit in my pocket. It is much smaller and lighter. You are less likely to need a charging case with freedoms. The Apple Airpods have a stylish look that is totally made up of plastic. It has a long stem.
The case coming along with the Airpods also looks good. It is small in size. You can carry it anywhere as you want. There is also a small LED light in front of the case, which shows whether they are getting charge or not. The case also makes the pairing process easy. It’s also important to note that the company offers compatible spares in case anything goes wrong. Having available Apple Airpods replacement parts is one of the main advantages of choosing this brand. For instance, you can easily replace a lost or damaged Airpod without having to buy an entirely new set.
COMFORT:
Google Pixel Buds
In comparison to the spectrum of different case sizes, for Wireless buds, these are really nice. Its size makes a big difference. We can take them around easily and use them everywhere. Even we can fit them in the tiny pocket inside the main pocket in our jeans and carry them.
The super low profile in my ear is a nice selling point. They don’t stick out very far at all like it basically just looks like a little disc in your ear, there’s no steam, and they stay in the ears really well. The little mini wingtip things are really nice, and they are permanently attached to the buds, so they’re part of the actual earbud unlike some of the buds. They are not much more adjustable, and everybody’s ears are different, so it’s hard to say if this will work for everyone, but they’re a great fit for me. You have to just set them in place, and just kind of twist them into your ear, and they lock into your ear, and they will not go anywhere.
The comfort is very good. The medium-sized rubber tips are coming with them, and they work great. The wingtip in the buds makes us feel like kind of a pressure point, but as far as others I’ve tried the rock-solid lock in my ear, and the shape of them is great, and again they are better than the previous pixel buds. Even you can use it while doing your work out, exercise, and jogging, they will stay in your ears.
Apple Airpods
The Apple Airpods looks goods, but they aren’t much stylish as Google buds. It has a thick stem which makes us feel somehow uncomfortable. It gets fix into ears but because of the stem, we may have a problem in fixing it in. As the ears differ from person to person there is much more chance of they do not get the fix in the ear perfectly.
FEATURES:
Google Pixel Buds
The big bold points of this buds are, they’re $179, they have a 5-hour battery life, and they don’t have noise cancellation. The specs on its surface are not that impressive at all. They have pretty average battery life and no noise cancellation like some of the other premium buds.
The upside of the pixel buds is also ipx4, water-resistant, so if you want to go workout with them they’ll survive some sweat, or some rain if you go running outdoors, it’s great.
There’s also a feature called adaptive sound, which is basically supposed to change the volume of your media automatically based on the loudness of the environment you’re in.
The only negative point in this buds is they don’t have noise cancellation, but for people who have used passive noise isolating earbuds before we know if you turn the volume up loud enough you can’t really hear anything else around you. The battery life here is average. I think if they did do noise cancellation with these, the battery life would have gotten even worse and that would have been pretty bad. This is so much smaller and more portable, and more likely for me to use it. There is also an accelerometer and a pair of proximity sensors.
Apple Airpods
Taking out one side mid playback was my first experience with another magical feature of the air pods. They’re onboard accelerometers that let them start and stop playback when they’re inserted or removed from your ears. As someone who actually does wear earphones all day this design choice smacks of, made by people who don’t do that because I often find myself working with one side to increase my awareness of my surroundings.
The good news is that within the Bluetooth menu, Apple allows this setting to be changed, along with the DoubleTap on the stem, which can trigger Siri or play pause media playback. The bad news is that unlike the wired equivalents the air pods rely on clunky voice control for volume adjustments, and track skipping. Voice control doesn’t work without an active internet connection for Siri. While these settings are stored on the air pods themselves, and carry over to other devices there doesn’t appear to be any way to configure them in the first place without using an Apple device.
If they don’t offer a compelling balance of portability, convenience value, and sound quality, I doubt many Android users will be queuing up to buy them anyway.
They fit in the ears more snugly than normal ear pods without the weight of the wires, but I don’t think I personally would trade away inline controls and a much lower price for that small benefit.
CONNECTIVITY:
Google Pixel Buds
There is a lightweight pixel buds app that you have to install during the setup process when you first pair these buds on your phone, and you will get some notifications down in there. Then it lays out and lets you learn all the swiping and tapping controls on the buds works on both sides for media. They’re pretty easy to learn swipe forward or backward for volume, one tap to play and pause, two taps to skip forward, triple tap to go back, and a long press to pull up Google assistant. I found this pretty intuitive. The only thing is the downside the bugs are so small. Having the Google assistant in your ear all the time pretty great. You just say the keyword and you can ask any questions all the time.
There is no noticeable Bluetooth lag when watching videos with these buds or playing games or anything like that which is awesome. You can also know your battery life constantly with the help of the app which may give you a bit of anxiety, but I find it helpful.
Apple Airpods
The connectivity process with iOS devices is pretty magical. Just pop the lid open on the air pods charging case, hold it near your phone, press the button, and you’re greeted by a handy-dandy battery indicator for both the air pods themselves and the charging case. MacBook pairing was a little less straightforward for me. The auto-pairing through iCloud did work, but Apple’s instructions simply say select air pods in the menu bar. But we also had to manually enable the Bluetooth icon in the menu bar before that would work. For a non-Apple device, setup is still easy, but less magical. Hold the button, select them in your Bluetooth menu, and wait about a second, then you can get on with your AirPods fix.
The W1 chip was introduced for easy pairing of these air pods, and anything with that chip to all of your Apple devices without you having to sign in. So, as long as you have an Apple ID on your device iPhone, iPad, and even MacBook pro this will be able to pair with all of them instantly via Bluetooth. So, this is not the first pair of headphones to come out with this chip
BATTERY AND ITS LIFE:
Google Pixel Buds
The Google Pixel Buds is a USB type-c port on the bottom, for Wired charging, and there’s also wireless charging, so you can drop them on a wireless charger, where the coils line up like the Nomad one, or any flat one but ironically not the pixel stand by Google, or on the back of any phone that supports reverse wireless charging.
This new case is a lot more than many other Wireless buds. In many of the buds, the case is too big or it’s not a high-quality build, but this is a nice case, wireless charging USB type-c.
The awesome case also does quick charge so, if you find the battery is about to die, and you have a little bit of a quick break, pop them in the case for ten minutes and you get two more hours of listening time out of it and that gives you a 24 hours total with the buds and the case battery.
Apple Airpods
The Apple AirPods comes with the wired charging case. The battery life on these is five hours on a charge, which is a little bit less than what I’m used to with the Jaybird X3 which will go around eight hours, but what’s really convenient is again that case it’s really a big part of using these air pods that cased with the wireless charging. You slip it in with the magnets, you snap them into place, and you can add three hours of listening time in just 15 minutes. So, that’s about half battery, and 15 minutes of charging in there and then you can total about 24 additional hours of listening time by putting them in the case all day. If you commute to work and you listen to these like an hour each way you can probably go a whole week without actually charging.
SOUND:
Google Pixel Buds
I love its sound quality. If you keep them perfectly simple they sound pretty great. They have 12-millimeter drivers that give great detail, and volume, even some impressive instrument separation, if you’re just like sitting still and just listening. There were no weird issues or anything with the sound, and they’re compatible with a great variety of stuff.
I think that the bass is lacking a little bit of punch. It’s a little bit lighter on the bass. This is fine for watching videos, phone calls, and podcasts, but a lot of people are used to more bass while listening to music, if you’ve come from like beats or something else with heavier bass, so you might prefer a bit of a different sound. It is typically where you can’t go ahead and head into the EQ, and add some bass back, but there is no EQ built into the pixel buds app. So, that’s definitely something to keep in mind, if you know what kind of sound you really like.
The main thing to keep in mind here as far as sound is these is not active noise-canceling headphones. They are called passive noise isolating which basically means the physical feel that it makes in your ear is all you get. I don’t mind too much that they don’t have the noise cancellation. The earbuds like ear pods Pro, Sony WF-1000 XM 3 costs two to three hundred, or three hundred fifty dollars. Those are more expensive ones but the Google Pixel Buds are really nice and they sound better, and they do undercut quite a bit in price.
Apple Airpods
The sound quality is sure, not worth what we had to pay for them, but as Bluetooth earphones go the auto-switching between the integrated microphones in both ear pods works really well. They’ve got great range even without line-of-sight to the phone, with a low enough noise floor that we couldn’t perceive any background hiss, and they’ve got a pleasing enough sound signature. I think most people will have no complaints. The bass is punchy, and not overdone, mids and highs are serviceable. As someone who normally uses IMS, I would really enjoy their more open natural sound.
As the size of the ears differs from person to person, they may not fit perfectly to some people. So, there is much more chance of hearing the outside noises.
WHICH TO BUY?
The Google Pixel Buds may cost around $20 more than Apple Airpods, but the features we are getting in the Google Pixel Buds is much better than the Apple Airpods. The Google Pixel Buds also connects with the google assistant which makes it easy to get the answers to our questions easier. It also fixes in the ears perfectly, but in Apple Airpods we may not feel that much comfortable because of the stem it holds with it. Again the sound quality is also pretty good in the Google Pixel Buds than the Apple Airpods as it doesn’t allow the outside sound in like Airpods. So, if you want good quality and features then you must go for the Google Pixel Buds.
