INTRODUCTION:

Jaybird Vista

The Jaybird Vistas are some of the newest truly wireless Bluetooth headphones. These costs a hundred and seventy-nine dollars which is a little bit pricey, but this a good pair of headphones that were lasting for a long time since these are waterproof.

Sony WF-1000XM3

They retail for $230 which is not crazy actually. They are more no doubt about it, but you are getting high qualitative noise-canceling here. They are more stylish as well.

DESIGN:

Jaybird Vista

It has a little case. The case that it comes with is pretty nice, it’s tiny, it’s small, it fits in the palm of my hand. It could probably fit on a keychain and it’s great. It’s made out of plastic. Inside the box, you have magnets so the headphones stay in their place properly which is great. It fits perfectly there.

Everything over there inside the case is hard plastic. The case is really great. These are one of the good looking headphones in the market. I really like the form factor of these headphones. They are not too crazy big. If you put them on your ear, they fit perfectly in the ears. 

Sony WF-1000XM3

It’s really a high-quality case. I like the way it looks stylish. There is the copper finish on the top, it’s a matte finish. The case pops open easily. You can see there’s a slot clearly indicate left and right.

The earbuds fit in the case perfectly in their place. It’s a nice fit in a nice presentation and there’s a magnet that pulls them in. You get a LED light on the front, you have the NFC logo there, it indicates that you can pair this up just by touch. I like the way the package is coming together and things are looking good.

COMFORT:

Jaybird Vista

They have a low profile, you can’t even see them too. They don’t stick out too much, they’re small and they fit great. They have a little fin over there it’ll go into your ear snugly. You just twist it in there and it fits snugly and they don’t move. They’ve never fallen out from my ears during a workout session or during a sweaty run. 

You are also getting extra ear tips so that you can change the ear tips as per the size however they fit into your ear. I really like the way they fit into my ear. Even I tested about how well they stay in the ears by shaking my head a lot but it stayed fit perfectly in my ears. Even it stayed perfectly without moving during my jogging and workouts.

You are getting extra ear tips here. The tip selection is nice. You are getting three pairs of more typical rubberized soft ear tips and then another three pairs of tips that look like a foam possibly a comply foam type, it’s different, it’s softer, I would say they are thicker as well. With the help of this, you can select which one fits perfectly in your ears.

I tried out the fitness and comfort level of these earbuds, they are perfectly alright. They have a perfect fit, as far as gym use activity there is no problem at all. I probably feel may be more comfortable than the Airpod because it’s just deeper in the ear canal.

FEATURES:

The toughness of these is great. They have IPX7 ratings, so all the sweat that you’re sweating on these things will not break these headphones. The sound quality on these has a little plunger system. As it has a little bit of a plunger system there, they fit in the ear canal and kind of just plunge right there. Although these aren’t noise-canceling, since they plunge that ear canal, you cannot hear much outside of it.

The problem with these is that you aren’t able to hear ambient noise. Some other headphones like the Jabra headphones have an ambient mode where it basically takes the noise from the outside and picks it up, boosts microphone, and streams it into your headphones, so you can hear the ambient noise. These don’t have it and the way you can get is that you can wear these individually. You get to actually just wear one of these if you want to and if you wear one you could listen to the ambient noise that way. 

They say that if you want more battery life since these can be used individually, you could put one in your ear and put the other one in the case. They also say that if you are using only one earbud, after its dead you can keep it in the case and you can use the other one. By doing this method, it’ll last you more than thirty hours. So, it’s great for those ultra-marathons.

Sony WF-1000XM3

This is a highly anticipated product. These ones are actually gonna put active noise cancellation into the earbuds. So, they’re gonna aim to give you noise-canceling performance similar to what you would get with a much larger headphone. Sony designed HD noise-canceling processor QN1e for high-performance noise cancellation and high-quality audio / dual noise sensor technology that captures ambient noise precisely with two microphones.

This also looks to be a giant touchpad on the side which could be nice. This gives you an external microphone picking up noise figuring things out. By default when compared to an Airpods, this should isolate sound better through noise-canceling into that as well and it should be some pretty severe isolation.

There’s an app to connect and often times I will not download the app alongside some wireless headphones. But in this case, it’s a must because the features in there are great. When I opened up the app, the headphones were blinking blue.

The first thing we see in the app is the adaptive sound control. The app detects your actions and automatically adjusts how to take in the ambient sound. This is the coolest part if it thinks that you need isolation based on the surroundings, it’ll tweak and toggle up the noise cancellation. It can figure out you’re on an airplane and then set up a profile specifically for an airplane because they know what an airplane typically sounds. It’s really very smart. The app is gonna tell you your battery life on both the left and right units. These also have Google Assistant built-in.

BATTERY AND ITS LIFE:

You are going to get 6 hours worth of battery with the earphones. The case adds an additional 10 hours of battery to your headphones when you’re charging it. You can charge it with USB-C charging. If you’re in the Android world that’s great because you only need one charger to charge your headphones and also your phone. Vista also gives you a quick charging feature that is five minutes of charge will give you around one hour of playtime.

Sony WF-1000XM3

It says six hours of battery life plus eighteen with the case. There is a stable wireless connection USB type-c charging. A 10-minute quick charge gives you 90 minutes of play. With noise canceling on, the max listening time is around 6 hours, and then if you turn the noise canceling off, that runtime goes up to 8 hours.

SOUND:

Jaybird Vista

The sound of these is great, they could be a little bit louder but the bass and treble are awesome. They actually have an app called Jaybird app, it has a sound equalizer. So, if you like to have a little more bassy, you like it more a little bit trembling, a little bit whatever, you can set it to whatever way you like to listen to it.

It even has personalized EQ, so it’ll set you a personal EQ or you can choose one of the many great sound settings that they have from athletes or celebrities, so there are lots of different options for that.

Sony WF-1000XM3

The adaptive sound control realizes if you are staying in one place so it has the ambient sound control at twenty. You will get a little bit of ambient sound with a focus on the voice so it’s gonna attempt to bring through if somebody tries to speak to you or disrupt you. In the next profile, the ambient sound goes all the way up to 12 without the focus on voice. We also have running as well, in which ambient sound goes up to 20 and then on transport if you’re on a train bus and then the noise-canceling goes to max.

You can also go into the equalizer which allows you to really tune in how you want them to sound depending on the type of music you’re listening to. There’s an app laying section for whatever it is that you happen to be listening to. There’s an automatic pause when the headphones are taken off. It also has Dchx, which is a type of audio processor that aims to take lower fidelity audio and enhance it. 

If you want some bass out of these to feel free, you go in the app, and then you can tweet it, toggle it and you get the volume and fullness. When I tapped it on the other hand I just got audio feeding through I can hear myself and hear the surroundings. On the pause, you get the feedback coming through because presumably, you want to check. It’s really good, you can hear your surroundings.

If you switch to transit, you can hear your surroundings but not that much. It’s definitely noise canceling but it’s not as intense as what the over-ears are capable of. These are really a great pair of earphones. This is what you’re looking for, they put whatever you might want. If you need to hear people you can hear the people and if you don’t want to hear, then you don’t hear.

WHICH ONE HAS BETTER FEATURES?

In my opinion, Vista has better features than the Sony WF-1000XM3. It’s true that Sony looks more stylish than the Vista but they are priced high too. But in Vista, you gonna get many features at the price of $179.
