Detail Review

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech G Pro Wireless

Logitech G Pro Wireless was able to rise to a pretty prominent position in the mouse industry right away which is kind of surprising given the price range that it was coming in at. There’s a lot of people actually using this mouse despite its expensive price tag and even though it’s coming in a $150 which is a lot for a mouse, it does seem like something that people are happy to pay for.

Logitech G903 Lightspeed

The Logitech G903 Lightspeed is a wireless mouse that also has a wired version. This mouse has lots of button options and the grip style and design are just amazing for gaming. The price range is also affordable considering all the features of it.

DESIGN & COMFORT:

Logitech G Pro Wireless

The weight of the G Pro is about 80 grams which is very light in comparison to some other Lightspeed wireless options from Logitech like the G603 and G305. The weight orientation for this thing is actually oriented at least for where I hold it between pinky finger and thumb is a little bit tilted towards the back. It seems pretty even compared to the G305 for example which definitely has a very heavy pull towards the back and you definitely notice that more when you’re actually using it.

This is gonna be true with any mouse on the market is a lot of times ergonomics and the comfort for you and how well you can actually use the mouse-based off on those parts is going to be a little bit more important than the sensor tech.

The shape of this is like it doesn’t really have any strong angles or any really distinctive features like it kind of just looks like a rounded Mouse and that’s exactly what it is. There’s nothing really offensive about the fit and the feel of this and I think this is actually a pretty genius move of not really committing to anything. I think most people gonna find this an acceptable shape. So because of the design that is kind of ambidextrous one and also safe for just about all grip styles. I think it’s a good option for most people. So, you can have a palm grip or a claw grip or kind of a hybrid or even a fingertip grip, and you’re gonna have a very good experience being able to use this in all those different styles.

From Logitech’s perspective, this is a really good option and I think was actually a smarter move than what Razer decided to do with the more aggressive approach that kind of forces your hand into one particular kind of style because of the slightly elongated back. The G Pro has a little bit more of an arch towards the back which makes a little bit more comfortable for the claw grippers.

Logitech G903 Lightspeed

The shape and design of this mouse look like a sports thing. It looks really crazy and gaming thing. All in all, we can say it doesn’t look like a  normal mouse. The interesting thing about this is, this mouse has an extra weight which is 10 grams that you can put into the mouse which is amazing but you will find that you don’t really use that extra 10 grams. You want a mouse that is light if you come in from a speed and heavy mouse and you want to drop the weight down gradually, then use the 10-gram weight but other than that, you will not use it.

What’s really cool about this mouse is ambidextrous. So, you can use it with your left hand or you can use it with your right hand, you can swap out the buttons I’ll show you some of that. This mouse is not very lightweight and we have the choice of the lightweight mouse in this period of time but it all also retailing at a high price. It is absolutely incredible, I mean, the smoothness of it and the way this mouse move is amazing.

FEATURES & PERFORMANCE:

Logitech G Pro Wireless

The real star of the show for this mouse is the Hero 16K sensor and the Lightspeed wireless tech. The Lightspeed wireless is Logitech’s proprietary kind of wireless technology, it’s not shared by any other company but there is a competitor out there that is ever so slightly better and it’s going to be Razer’s hyperspeed technology. Both actual technologies and the functionality of both in my opinion are exceptional.

Another thing that I consider to be pretty class-leading for this mouse is going to be most of the buttons. From the G502 mouse forward, I’ve always felt that Logitech has some of the best buttons in the industry, especially for the primary right and left clicks, and then this mouse is no different, pretty much immediate actuation. It’s got a decent amount of resistance that makes you not accidentally click it but it’s a very satisfying click when you finally do decide to click. On the primary buttons, there’s almost no pre-travel and then on the side buttons, it’s kind of the same. They all seem to actuate very quickly and there’s not a whole lot of pre or post travel which is good to see.

Now in terms of buttons, the mouse wheel is really the one and the only thing that have any complaints about it. The scrolling is great, it’s got distinctive steps that aren’t too hard or too loud. The click down is a little stiff and it doesn’t really feel very easy to access or natural compared to some other mice. It doesn’t really click down that easily.

One of the things had to really enjoy about this mouse is the removable side buttons and I think this is a huge win because not only are the side buttons removable which cannot be set for that viper ultimate but they are individually removable so you don’t have to remove a whole side and slop a whole cover piece.

In the performance, I feel like this is a far more capable Mouse than I could ever take but this isn’t the only Mouse that is like that. I feel like it’s the things like grip and battery life and even the look and just all that extra stuff that really makes you think that this Mouse is worth. This is definitely outperformed heavier mice like the G603 and the G305. It’s a much better feeling of control. I do think that the G Pro is gonna be a good contender for most people and while definitely a premium price, I think it’s deserving of that price range.

Also, there are some negative points which can be changed in the future by Logitech, if it will be then that will be best. The curves for your pinky finger and thumb area could be a little bit more swept in my opinion that would assist with picking this up just a little bit easier, they’re not pretty subtle and they are slightly curved but I wish they would just go a little bit more. The same thing with the finger indents on the primary clicks, I feel like they could have gotten away with a little bit more of an indent and it would be a little bit more comfortable. Another thing is the two primary buttons, I think are too close together in the front and depending on how you’re implementing the pressure of your fingers. I feel like these could actually rub together over time. I feel like they should have left a little bit more of a gap between both buttons and they probably actually saved a little bit of weight too.

Logitech G903 Lightspeed

It’s got a 1 millisecond response time which is amazing for the wireless mouse technology arena where the people are competing against one another. The 1 millisecond response time of this mouse is really amazing. It’s wired as well as Wireless, you can also play with a cable plugged in.

It has 11 buttons. It’s got a scroller click to the left to scroll it click to the right, you can move the scroller up and down which is really cool. You can also change your DPI on the fly. It has a PMW3366 sensor which was sort of an advanced way beyond its time with Logitech, they’ve been using the sensor for a while. It’s a 200 to 12,000 DPI sensor which is really good.

You can customize every button on this mouse as per your choice in the software of Logitech. You do have nice RGB lighting, you can also change the lighting speed and system of that lighting. These customizations will be very useful for people.

BATTERY:

Logitech G Pro Wireless

This will get you about 48 to 60 hours which is very good and for a small lightweight battery that’s definitely good. But, if you’re coming from some of that lasts a lot longer, it is a little bit of a system shock going to a battery that you have to worry about plugging in every few days.

Logitech G903 Lightspeed

The sensor used in this mouse runs nicely at 32-hour battery life. So, 32 hours apart from the RGB lighting this mouse has. It’s got really good RGB lighting, it will drop that down to about 28 hours when you got RGB lighting running. On the mouse which is still good and it simply plugs it in, charge it up while you’re grabbing a cup of coffee, pulls it out again and you’ve got another three to five hours of use of the mouse.

WHICH TO BUY?

The Logitech G903 Lightspeed is a great all-rounder Mouse and if you have a budget for the mouse then get this one. The G Pro Wireless mouse is also good to get because of that lightweight. The price range of these mice is also almost similar. If you want a lightweight mouse to lock a target quickly or for FPS gaming then the G Pro wireless will be the best option. If you don’t want an FPS gaming mouse and want more button options comparatively then the G903 Lightspeed is a good option.

There’s not much to complain about here as this mouse is incredibly accurate, comfortable, customizable, and has absolutely insane battery life. It’s the lightest mouse around and you pay for it though, as its $150 price tag is just too high in my opinion. I get that it’s a top-tier device but to me that’s just too much for a mouse, even one as good as the Pro Wireless.
