Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech G332

This is the normal mid-range budget headset. The design, comfort and build quality and all the things like that is nice. The sound is not like the high end headsets but for this price it’s good enough.

Logitech G332 SE

This is the special edition of the model Logitech G332. all the things in the Logitech G332 were also placed in this model but there’s some extra features and difference between them. This model is also nice in all the features and it worth the price.

DESIGN:

Logitech G332

When handling the headset, it’s pretty easy to notice the extensive use of hard plastics throughout the design. Although in terms of build quality it does seem to be sturdy, well-made, and just overall has a solid feel to it.

Aesthetically, the G332 are nicely designed and generally seem to follow the design concepts of other products in Logitech’s G or gamer series lineup. Now, if you’re somebody that likes flashy bright LED lights on your headset, you’re gonna have to look elsewhere because the G332 does not include any of that.

Logitech G332 SE

This has the same design as the Logitech G332 had because this is a special edition of it. The design of the Logitech G series is always good, I don’t have any problem with the design. It looks like a gaming headset. Maybe, it looks weird if you will use this as regular pair headphones like for travelling and all.

COMFORT:

Logitech G332

The headband features an adjustable design that when combined with the rotating ear cups should make for a comfortable and snug fit on pretty much any sized and shaped head. The contact surface is on the ear cups and headband are featured with a leatherette padding to soften things up a bit.

Though I must say personally to me, it feels a little firm compared to what I’m used to. Still though, I think I would rate the overall comfort level of the G332 quite favorably as the lightweight design, padding, and overall ergonomics work well together to produce a headset that seems to be comfortable for long periods of time.

Logitech G332 SE

They fit pretty good and they are comfortable. They have soft material on the headrest on top of the band. The headset feels sturdy and my biggest complaint was the volume doesn’t go too high.

FEATURES:

Logitech G332

The Logitech G332 is a true multi platform headset with support for the PC, ps4, Xbox one, and the Nintendo switch and because it uses a standard 3.5 millimeter audio connector, it is also compatible with mobile devices as well.

Logitech G332 SE

The Logitech G332 special edition is a multi-platform gaming headset. Headphones work with PC or Mac or with game consoles including PlayStation 4, Xbox one, Nintendo switch, and mobile devices via the 3.5 millimeter cable. It has a 50 millimeter driver for audio precision and detail. It also has a 6 millimeter flip-to-mute microphone and it is not retractable.

The headset doesn’t have RGB for those are you be found out there. It also has a 2 meter 3.5 millimeter cable that is not detachable and it’s not a USB. It weights 280 grams which translate to 0.6 pounds. The ear cups on the headset can rotate up to 90 degrees for convenience. Volume can also be adjusted quickly on any platform with the ear cups multi-volume wheel.

In the box it came a dongle from analog to digital connector instead of having a microphone on the headset audio. I wish it came to a USB that would make it so much easier and instead of having two cables just have one.

MICROPHONE:

Logitech G332

The left ear cup is fitted with a 6 millimeter flipped to mute integrated mic. Personally in my opinion, it’s about exactly what I would expect from a headset in this price range. Now, this is a fixed microphone which means you can’t actually remove it from the headset.

Logitech G332 SE

The mic is flip to mute type mic. When put up the mic will be mute as its own and when it’s down you are ready to talk means it will be unmute.

The mic sounds good enough. But, it cant be used for any professional works. It can be use for gaming, web chat with friends etc,. like casual things.

SOUND:

Logitech G332

My experience overall was not really impressive or overwhelming by any means. Despite using large 50 millimeter audio drivers, the audio quality delivered by the G332 on the PC is just okay. The overall audio quality is about in line with other budget to mid-range headsets but unfortunately it’s not anything better than that.

Actually, I am used to a little bit higher end audio quality. So, when I put on a headset like the G332, it’s possible that I notice things a little bit more when it comes to the decreased overall quality of the audio which may otherwise be perfectly acceptable for a headset in this price range. I just want to make sure you understand that I’m not trying to scare anybody away from the G332. But, just because of the big drivers in the big highter end headsets were places in these headset, this will not give you the same audio quality for this reason only beacuse that is just not the case.

Logitech G332 SE

The Logitech G332 is not trying to be a most feature-rich headset around but it has what you need. It is a straightforward experience that sound quality, it’s pretty good stomp butter off for a price but I think it can be improved especially what comes in the box. It is that way and for money, I don’t think you can ask much more. I would also wish the volume could be louder in the headset.

CONCLUSION:

Logitech G332

Logitech has delivered a headset for gamers that in terms of build quality and styling seems to live up to their G Series or gamer branding but unfortunately, when it comes to audio quality the 50 millimeter drivers seem to come up a little short in my opinion. Audio seems overall a little echoey and not totally crisp and clear.

Logitech G332 SE

Overall, everything is nice but some of them are little bit problematic but the sound, design, comfort etc,. are good enough. If you are into multiplayer games and need some cheap budgeted headset, just pick this one and this model is less price than the original model as this is a special edition.
