Detail Review:

INTRODUCTION:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

This headset is a little overpriced for an average consumer just looking for a headset but some people that are on the phone a lot using VoIP such as Skype or whatever may find it appropriate for its price. The Logitech Wireless Headset H800 is currently retailing for around a hundred and thirty-five dollars.

Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo

Jabra is a popular brand in the market among all. The Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo is one of the old model headsets from Jabra. But these are still retailing for a higher price of around a hundred and seventy dollars currently.

DESIGN:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

There are some controls on the right earcup those are the volume up, volume down, the mute function, and the button to answer the call, and play-pause. At the bottom of the right earcup, there is a micro USB connector for charging, then you have a nice little toggle to skip forward a track and skip backward a track. You also do have a switch that on and off your Bluetooth connection. On the other side, you have a compartment to store your dongle safely.

Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo

The pouch opens halfway or a little bit more. It comes with a red micro USB charging cable and it matches the nice red interior inside the pouch. Inside the pouch, there will be a little dongle. When you look at the headset, it magnetically holds the mic. This does have NFC for pairing. You have two buttons on the top and another at the bottom. If you hold the bottom button down for two seconds it mutes and if you hold it for two seconds again it unmutes.

There’s a charging port, there’s the on/off, there’s a Bluetooth or off, and there’s a charging port. You can also volume up and volume down by the button there on the ear cup which has the microphone. This has passive noise canceling so what that means is you could hear whats going on around you.

COMFORT:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

These headsets are actually very lightweight. These weigh around 7.2 ounces so you will not feel any heavy burden on your head. The headset has a nice foam that gives you great comfort. The headset is actually extendable so that you can adjust it to the size of your head. The headband and the ear cups are really well cushioned with a nice foam so it is really comfortable.

I’ve noticed if I talk on it or listen to music on it for about 30 minutes, it does get noticeably uncomfortably hot. I don’t know if it’s just me having because I get hot easily. I can’t take it off after about 30 minutes while having business Skype conversation so, that could be a problem.

Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo

The ear cup rotates like 90 degrees to get flat as well. It extends maybe an inch on either side. So you can adjust it however you want to fix to your head size. There’s no padding up there on the headband but it is a rubbery feeling surface. As well as there is not much padding on the earcup. As far as comfort goes, these are not much comfortable but it’s ok for business purposes and if you are not going to use it for a long time.

10.4 JABRA EVOLVE 65 UC STEREO 3

FEATURES:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

It is foldable to make it very easily portable. It doesn’t take up a lot of space if it just sits on your desk while you’re not using it. Another small but important detail is if you twist the compartment on the side of the earcup a little bit and the upper plate comes off and you’ve got your compartment to put the USB dongles. So if you’re not currently using the dongle or you’re traveling you don’t have to worry about losing your dongle or misplaced it badly.

This is on top of a lot of other consumer-targeted headsets as this one has Bluetooth built-in when it was newly introduced in the market. You can use it on any tablet when you’re face-timing or skyping or a smartphone. It has that advantage over a lot of other headsets. It also has obviously as like all the Logitech headsets have USB capability for a computer using point, so that’s a pretty standard though and it comes with the dongle for that.

One of the great features of this is you can easily switch back and forth using the switch right there from Bluetooth or a USB. So, I can be having it on, for example, someone calls me on my phone I can just switch to my phone and after the conversation is over I can switch back to my computer. So you can easily switch back and forth from a Bluetooth device and a USB device. Another advantage thereof Logitech is it has a forty-foot wireless range. As far as I could explain I was upstairs and still using it while my phone is downstairs. It is also worth mentioning again it can work while charging but some other headphones can’t do that.

Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo

These are professional wireless headsets with dual connectivity meaning you can connect two devices at the same time and it offers amazing sound for calls and music. So not only can you use it to make phone calls but it’s good for music as well. It’s wireless, it has a LED light, and dual Bluetooth connectivity as the box claims. These are useful if you are talking with web clients more and more to chat and connect with.

There are some quick instructions on the box lid, you basically plug this little dongle to your computer and use Bluetooth for your phone. It does come in its own pouch, it’s not a hardcover, it’s like a neoprene-like very lightweight cover. So it doesn’t get scratched but it definitely wouldn’t prevent the headsets from getting crushed in your bag, so be careful with that. There’s a quick start guide, there’s a model number for you up there, some warnings, and a tiny manual that’s in many languages.

When you insert the dongle to your computer, go to the settings, then sound output, and it will automatically show the Jabra link 370 USB and you need to choose that. When you plug the little dongle into your computer and it just magically is paired and it just works. The problem with using this is the Bluetooth audio was bad. With the NFC connector, it’ll connect, it’ll be easy every single time, it works but the sound quality is better if you listen to any kind of music.

When I was using Spotify I noticed the audio quality was very bad like horribly bad like you wouldn’t even want to use these for that. But as soon as you connect to through Bluetooth it works a lot better. I’ve tested the range on these, it definitely gives you maybe probably a little more than 30 feet in an open area.

BATTERY:

Logitech Wireless Headset H800

The pros of it being it do have pretty good long battery life for microphone headset combinations. It does have a six-hour battery life of talking and listening. So not bad and definitely will get you through a workday. If worse comes to worst it, you can talk on it while charging also. You are getting the micro USB cable for charging, so not a deal-breaker there by any means.

Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo

The battery life on the Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo is around ten hours as the manufacturer claims which is great compared to H800. These headsets can be charged using the micro USB charging cable. I am really happy with the battery life on these.

10.4 JABRA EVOLVE 65 UC STEREO 4

WHICH ONE IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER?

In my opinion, the Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo is better than the Logitech Wireless Headset H800 because Evolve 65 performs better, the comfort level is better, and the battery life is better than Logitech H800 even though the price is more than that of H800.

Expert reviews of Logitech Wireless Headset H800:

By Firstpost.com
In terms of design, the Logitech H800 is a headset with basic looks- it’s got the usually adjustable headband, foam pads with no felt or cloth covers, a protruding microphone arm and it’s got controls on one side. In terms of build quality, it’s not too impressive. The headset is understandably designed to be light, but a sudden jolt or twist could break the headband easily. There’s a provision to fold the headphones, so it’s a little easy to carry around.

By Digit
At Rs. 6,595 the Logitech Wireless Headset H800 fell expensive. Their build quality is sub-par and the audio output is consistent. If wireless headphones are an absolute necessity, then you may want to consider these otherwise we suggest you pick up a nice pair of wired headphones, which will do more justice to your music needs.

It shouldn’t matter when using the Jabra Evolve 65 UC Stereo headset, which is certified to sync easily with most major platforms. Even if using a lesser-known system, the headset will at least provide audio functionality, Jabra maintains.

As you have noticed, Jabra had been adding new UC headsets to the market, and it can become a little overwhelming trying to find a headset that can work with your smartphone and your computer. Personally, I do use and need something reliable and easy to sync thru all my devices and get the best sound quality with no performance sacrifice.

The Jabra Evolve 65 is a stylish new wireless headset from Jabra, which has been designed to improve your focus at work by eliminating distractions from background noise. And where better to test out the Evolve 65 than in our very own customer services call center.

I recently got my hands on a set of Jabra Evolve 65 headset. These headphones have been on the market for a while and include features such as 100 feet wireless range, 10-hour battery life, busy light, and passive noise cancellation.

By Indian Express
The Jabra Evolve 65 UC has a very compact design. The ear cups are round and have a soft foam that sits perfectly on your ears. Not too comfortable, just right. The mic can be turned up when you don’t need it and the headband is comfortable enough for office use. On the left ear cup is the power button which also has the Bluetooth connect toggle. There are battery and Bluetooth indicators just beside it. Just below is the USB port to charge the headset. The ear-cups can fold flat if you want to put them away in the office locker.
