On the top of the speaker is where you have got your power button and Bluetooth pairing button and on the side of the speaker you have got huge plus and minus button for volume up and down. At the bottom of the speaker is where you got your micro USB charging port when you flip open the flap there. Also, this speaker supports wireless charging through the power-up dock that you have to buy separately.

To charge this speaker wirelessly, you need to unscrew the D-ring that comes with the speaker and screw the D-ring that comes with a Power-up dock in your speaker. The power-up charging dock charges through micro-USB and the speaker charges through the metal ending right there at the bottom of the speaker. You need to set the speaker on the charging dock and you can see the light came on which indicates it’s charging.

SOUND QUALITY:

Ultimate Ears Blast

I tested out the sound quality on the Blast speaker from the Ultimate Ears with a bunch of different musics from different genres at maximum volume, and as per my tested i felt like there is no distortion on this at all even at the maximum volume. The sound quality on this is really crystal clear even at the maximum volume. as these speakers are featured 360-degree spatial sound, these gives same equally quality sound from all the sides of it.

WHICH ONE IS WORTH BUYING?

In my opinion, the Ultimate Ears Blast is worth buying for the price than the Ultimate Ears Megaboom speakers if you want a Bluetooth speaker under hundred dollars. But if you want a Bluetooth speaker having great sound quality and also great battery life, then the Ultimate Ears Megaboom is also worth buying for its price.

The Ultimate Ears UE Blast puts Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant in a portable, rugged, waterproof Bluetooth speaker.

By Tech Radar
The Ultimate Ears Blast is really two products in one – it’s primarily a portable Bluetooth speaker but with the added functionality of a smart speaker like the Amazon Echo. The inclusion of Alexa makes the Blast useful in the home when paired with the optional Power Up dock – and, when it comes time to leave the house and head to the beach, you have an excellent-sounding Bluetooth speaker.

With Alexa integration coupled with ear-splittingly loud volumes and pretty decent battery life, the UE Blast is one of the best smart portable speakers on the market.

By Expert Reviews
At £109, the UE Blast is the cheapest, most versatile smart speaker on the market. No other speaker is this rugged and waterproof, has Bluetooth and Alexa compatibility. It’s compact, too, and although it doesn’t sound as good as its bigger sibling, the UE Megablast, sound quality isn’t bad at all.

The MEGABOOM covers most listening scenarios better, but it is slightly worse off when it comes to portability, so if your primary concerns are sound quality and volume, the MEGABOOM will fit the bill better, but if you want something to reside in your backpack, you will find yourself wanting the BOOM instead.
